This course is an introduction to the integration of computers in education. The course
will emphasize the following:

1. Evolution and impact of computers in education.
2. Theories that support the integration of technology in education.
3. Aspects to consider when designing a lesson that integrates technology.
4. Research conducted in the integration of technology in education.
5. Selecting and evaluating educational computer programs.
6. Hands on practice with various educational computer programs

El curso comprende un análisis de las ciencias sociales y su relación con el proceso educativo, y de la escuela como una institución social. Incluye un estudio de la herencia cultural del hombre y las funciones de la educación en cuanto a preservar y mejorar la misma, la integración de la educación con la vida e instituciones de la comunidad y del grupo humano, conducta de los grupos en relación a los problemas escolares, el rol de maestro y la relación entre los cambios sociales y la escuela.

Este curso está diseñado con el propósito de proveerle al estudiante una visión general de los principios que fundamentan el uso de los recursos audiovisuales que se utilizan para la enseñanza. Ayudarlos en el manejo de los equipos y materiales que componen el grupo de medios multisensoriales.

The study of telecommunications as an effective medium for the enrichment of the learning process in the classroom, distance and virtual. Course Description:

Preparation of the future teacher in the use of software that will facilitate his/her administrative tasks such as keeping a roll book, composing documents, preparing booklets, preparing tests and quizzes, keeping inventory and similar tasks.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Development of the administrative competencies necessary in order to carry out the common activities of a school computer laboratory: prepare inventories, buy equipment and materials, plan and organize seminars, prepare budgets, and evaluate and integrate materials to the curriculum of elementary and secondary schools.
