This course integrates the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing while developing student’s vocabulary and grammatical structures. This course may be offered in either of the following modes: in-person, distance, hybrid, or online.

The goal is to enable the students to understand and practice the principles of reasoning by means of the introduction to expository modes and techniques of organization. Topics covered include description, narration, definition, example, induction, and others.
