Laboratory course companion to TAAE-3023. This laboratory is designed to provide students with hands on experiences and practical skills in the operation, testing and analysis of gas turbine engines. Students will engage in experiments and projects that will covers various aspects including technical adaptation of the gas turbine engines, operation and troubleshooting of turbine engines Also provides the student with shop practice skills in the inspection, overhaul, repair, installation, removal and troubleshooting of gas turbine engine and its components. This course will be taught in person. 

This course includes the classification and construction of the gas turbine engines. Also provides the student with the theory and shop practice skills in the inspection, overhaul, repair, installation, removal and troubleshooting of gas turbine engine and its components.

This course will cover aircraft airframe systems and components. To provide the skills in checking, repairs, installation, removal, servicing, inspection, and troubleshooting of landing gear systems, hydraulic and pneumatic power systems, cabin atmosphere control systems, aircraft fuel systems, ice and rain control systems, and fire protection systems.

This course will cover the required laws for all licenses mechanics and certifying staff, aircraft certification and international requirements.  This course of Aviation Legislation is focused on the requirements of FAA and EASA.
